What a cute little imposter!

Xander just wanted to pop in and say hey! He is getting his first tooth and has a nasty cold...poor bubba. Lucky for us he's been his happy self during the days (not so much during the nights). Notice the xbox remote in the first picture. I came home from work and saw this nice little gadget propped up on the exersaucer. Jas is trying to work on Xander's finger coordination or so he says. I have to balance that out by showing Xander how to throw a ball. I guess you could say we make a good team.

These are some random pictures of our little family. I love the picture of Jason and Xander! Such cute guys. Xander is so much fun. He is always happy and everyone comments on what a happy baby he is. He loves to move now! He rolls and scoots to get around the family room (usually trying to get the pups). He makes lots of funny noises to get our attention and LOVES to make us laugh. Weekends are the best since I get to spend the whole day with him. He is such a fun baby and I absolutely love him.

Now for the posts below. I am still learning how to use a blog and didn't realize you have to post backwards in reverse order. If you want the posts to make more sense start at the bottom of today's posts. I would promise to get better, but let's face it, that will not happen.

First basketball game! WSU vs ISU - we lasted ALMOST the entire game. We had a great time! Xander did chew us out with about 7 minutes left on the game clock. He was ready to go! The kid runs the show these days. I think the whole 'Batbaby' is getting to his head.

Na Na Na Na BATBABY! POW! Xander loves his Batman pajamas that Gma Bobbie sent up. They are perfect!

Xander is 6 months!

I think this 6 month old ate my little baby! Today Xander is 6 months old and he is growing too quickly. Jason took Xander to the doctor for his check-up and here are the stats (drumroll) 26.2 inches long and 19.2 pound-cakes. Xander sits up, his method of transportation is rolling, he says 'mama' when he is sad or scared, he laughs and smiles most of the time. He is a very happy baby! Xander does get nervous around women/girls with blonde hair, but don't we all? I kid. He is such a fun little dude and I love him so much!

"SwaddleMe"

This first post is dedicated to our beloved SwaddleMe addiction. I am addicted and Xander is most definitely addicted. He sleeps so very well when he is in his SwaddleMe (or straight jacket as Jason would call it) and I sleep alright too. Xander has almost outgrown the size L. He is also quite the escape artist and can find his way out of the swaddle. Soon we'll have to retire his SwaddleMe and that could mean a sleepless night and a sad baby. Leaving on a happy note, I hear there's an adult version of the SwaddleMe called the sleeping bag. The addiction might never have to end!
